Data Protection Information
QCS Gala Event November 2024
Photos will be taken at our event. Due to their properties, digital recordings fall under the GDPR, which is why you will find all the relevant information about them here.
If you have any questions or comments, we are glad to help you at any time and strive to provide explanations briefly and in a language as normal as possible.
Why & for what? – Purposes and legal basis for processing
WHY: The legal basis for the processing is Art. 6 Para. 1 Sen. 1 lit. f GDPR. We have a legitimate interest in taking and publishing photos for marketing, documentation and reporting purposes about the event.
FOR WHAT: The photos should then be published on different channels and media: our own website, social media presences on Facebook and LinkedIn, third-party websites such as online magazines, internal newsletters and emails, print media such as magazines/ newspaper or flyers.
Photos may also be taken in which you can be seen and recognized. If you discover that photos are or have been taken of you and you do not want this, please proactively contact the photographer. This person will then delete the photos and will not use them. We only process photos of children (people who have not yet reached the age of 18) on the basis of consent as per Art. 6 Para. 1 Sen. 1 lit. f GDPR.
Â
Who can see the photos ?
Through the publications, selected photos will be visible to the public. The photos are thus made accessible to users of the Internet and social media as well as recipients of print media.
Â
How long do we keep the photos
Unless there is a one-off, predetermined purpose for individual photos, we keep the photos for an indefinite period of time. In this case, deletion is not intended. We delete the photos if there is a legal obligation to do so. Use on the Internet and social media constitutes permanent use that is not limited to the act of publication.
