QCS Berlin ships Toten Hosen equipment to Argentina

In the past, QCS has been able to handle difficult tours for the Toten Hosen – such as to Myanmar. And this time too, everything went smoothly thanks to the well-rehearsed collaboration.

Quick Cargo was able to successfully organize the last tour to Argentina in 2015 in cooperation with the Waivers company. A recipe for success that we continued last year.

We have been working with Waivers profitably and without any problems for years. The service provider is known for its expertise in band tours and trade fairs in Argentina.

In the past, QCS has been able to handle difficult tours for the Toten Hosen – such as to Myanmar. And this time too, everything went smoothly thanks to the well-rehearsed collaboration. Through the committed and proactive deployment of a QCS employee, rejection by the airline was avoided. He had checked packages for possible dangerous goods and discovered the batteries and removed them as a precaution. According to IATA dangerous goods regulations, these batteries are exempt as dangerous goods according to “Special Provision A 67”, but the contents often carry the risk of being rejected by the airline.

So we contacted the organizer to get the batteries on site and the batteries included were removed as a precaution. The customs inspection was successful the next day and the instruments were able to go on their journey. The cargo reached Buenos Aires on September 25th and was directly cleared through customs by Waiver and delivered to the venue on September 30th. On October 8th, the equipment was picked up again after the show and the flight was booked via Frankfurt to DĂĽsseldorf.
